Chris and Krystal Marok of Fairbanks are one step closer to being named America’s favorite couple.

Online votes will determine the top finalists for the national contest that Krystal Marok entered on a whim earlier this summer.

The newly-married couple, who have been together for nearly 13 years, want to represent Fairbanks and Alaska by doing well in this contest and are now thinking of ways to pay that win forward for other couples.
