The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority is praising Furie Operating Alaska for its continued progress this year in expanding natural gas production in Cook Inlet. In a statement released Monday, AIDEA called Furie’s 2025 drilling season a success and commended the company’s commitment to safety, innovation, and community.

Furie, headquartered on the Kenai Peninsula, reported that new wells drilled this summer have increased production as expected, with results showing promising outcomes. The company is now preparing to expand operations at its Allegra Leigh platform — formerly known as Julius R. — by installing two new 30-inch well conductors and one 20-inch conductor. That work will bring the platform’s producing well count to 13, more than double its original design.
