It was a chilly morning across Missouri on Tuesday with a preliminary low of 50 degrees for Mid-Missouri. Our record-coolest low still stands at 48 degrees from 1910.
It'll be another chilly night across Mid-Missouri Tuesday night with temperatures falling to the lower 50s once again. Cloud cover will also increase overnight.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with highs near the upper 70s and lower 80s.
A few isolated showers are possible on Wednesday evening and overnight, but the majority of the rain will stay off towards southwestern Missouri.
There is another slim chance for rain on Thursday morning. Showers look to mostly stay south of HWY 50. Rain is not expected for Columbia.
Temperatures will stay below seasonally average into Labor Day Weekend.
