Two Chesterfield teachers facing child pornography charges were alleged to have shared sexually explicit messages, images and videos involving children with each other, according to court documents.

Shaun Jason Adams, 49, of Petersburg, was arrested on a child pornography possession charge on July 22. Police searched his home following the arrest.

After the July arrest, investigators received a tip about “concerning messages” being sent to underaged children from Adams and Richard Franklin Troshak III, 33, of North Chesterfield.

Police searched Adams’ phone and found a series of messages between Adams and Troshak containing sexually explicit messages about children, as well as images and videos of child sexual abuse material, according to court documents.
