City is 4th among small cities, 1st in infrastructure

An online platform that finds flexible workspaces, including co-working spaces, private offices and meeting rooms, is shining some light on Surprise for its economic growth.

CoworkingCafe.com released its “Top Cities for Economic Growth” list this summer and found Surprise was fourth among small cities overall and tops in the nation for its evolution of infrastructure.

The study factored in 11 different metrics covering 2019 through 2023 ­— including GDP growth, job gains, housing expansion, export strength and infrastructure buildout. It categorized cities by population size: large, mid-sized and small.
