UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis County man was charged on Monday for defiling the sign of the Jewish Student Union located at 8037 Delmar Boulevard.

The incident occurred on Aug. 6 at approximately 11 p.m.

Michael Burleson could be seen on surveillance video defiling the sign of the Jewish Student Union by changing the sign from saying “We stand with Israel” to say “We genocide Israel”.

Rabbi Michael Rovinsky discovered the sign, and the police were called.

Burleson was later found and charged with one count of harassment motivated by discrimination to frighten or disturb another person and one count of property damage.
