OWEGO, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - Two people were injured and sent to the hospital on Tuesday after a motorcycle crash in Nichols, according to information from the New York State Police.
Troopers responded to a crash at approximately 6:07 p.m. on Aug. 25, along Route 17 in Nichols, troopers said.
Following an initial investigation, troopers allege that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle veered off the roadway. The bike was operated 38-year-old male. Reasons for the bike veering off the roadway are unknown. Both the male and a 37-year-old female passenger were transported to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
The male is reported to be stable, while the female is in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
