LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - TARC announced the board appoved the executive director to enter into an exclusive negotiation period with the West Louisville Dream Team over the sale of the Nia Center.

According to TARC, the negotiation period will last 14 days. The period will start when TARC submits a response to West Louisville Dream Team’s letter of intent, which they say will happen no later than 5 p.m. on Aug. 29.

TARC revelaed plans to close the center before the end of 2025 and is giving the 13 businesses inside until December to move out. Goodwill had submitted a bid to buy the building and turn it into affordable housing, but that was later rejected.
