COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man facing multiple felonies after reportedly firing shots at Marysville police nearly three months ago is back in custody shortly after walking away from a Columbus hospital on Tuesday evening, according to Sgt. Joseph Albert.
An Ohio State Wexner Medical Center spokesperson said a patient transport, identified by Albert as Dustin Ohm, came to the hospital from a nearby rehab facility for an appointment earlier in the day. He was later discharged and was supposed to return to the rehab facility in a transport vehicle, but instead walked away from Wexner and left the area.
The spokesperson said Ohm was not under law enforcement supervision when he arrived at Wexner Medical Center or when he was discharged. It's unclear why he was not in custody at the time.
