BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A man who was arrested recently for motorcycle thefts in Bismarck will not go to trial.

On Monday, Sterling Uleberg pleaded guilty to two felony counts, including conspiracy to commit theft and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief.

Uleberg was arrested along with three other people last month after police say they stole motorcycles and gear out of a shop along Lee Avenue.

An officer who responded then found Uleberg hiding in a dumpster behind a gas station, wearing some of the stolen gear.

A Burleigh County judge ordered Uleberg to serve seven years in prison along with three years of probation.

The three other people charged with the thefts are set to go to trial in October.
