LUDINGTON – Finally the 2025 football season is upon us and for the Ludington varsity squad that means a trip to Coopersville.
On Thursday, the Orioles hit the road looking to open their campaign with a win and their intensity during practice is a good sign for what lies ahead.
“We have had great intensity during camp this year,” Ludington head coach Charlie Gunsell said. “We understand that Coopersville is a great opponent and it will take our best effort to compete with them. The kids understand that they are going to have to raise the bar in order for us to be successful.”
While expectations might be high for Ludington, coach Gunsell has kept the team’s goals simple.
“The main goals for the Ludington Orioles this season are to compete and win each and every day,” coach Gunsell said.
