For Mike Gallucio, Gallucio's Italian Restaurant was more than an iconic neighborhood spot with hot pizza, cold beer and generations of regulars.
Opened by his grandfather and father before he was born, the historic hodgepodge brick building in Wilmington dates back to 1866 and holds a wealth of memories.
It's where the 50-year-old began helping his family at age 11, working within its walls until it was sold to its current owners in 2013. And the Gallucio's stage is also where his musician brother Anthony would wow crowds and drop jaws with his masterful guitar playing.
