I agree with Don Rogers’ characterization in the Aug. 20 edition of The Park Record of the situation in Park City: “The deputy city managers are brand new following the departures of their predecessors, the city manager is leaving, the mayor is quitting city politics altogether. Main Street is sinking, Bonanza Park languishing, Snow Park’s progress delayed, Sundance and the Kimball Art Center gone, and the 2034 Games already loom uncomfortably.”

Given this, how could any rational person advocate to perpetuate the feckless leadership of Park City by voting to promote Councilman Dickey to become the mayor of Park City? Jack Rubin is the only effective solution. The voters of Park City owe it to themselves to get to know Jack Rubin, enthusiastically support him and turn out to deliver Jack R
