BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A third person had been charged following the death of a 3-year-old Bloomington girl .

David Butche, of Bloomington, is facing two felony charges for neglect of a dependent. According to court documents, he is the girl's maternal uncle.

The other two people charged are the girl's mother, 27-year-old Keera Braun, and maternal grandmother, 50-year-old Millissa Hicks, both from Bloomington. They are also facing felony charges of neglect of a dependent.

Deputies conducted a wellness check on the girl at an apartment in the 4100 block of North Thomas Road , near West Ratliff Road, on Friday, Aug. 8. When they arrived, they found the girl unconscious and not breathing.
