NEW YORK (PIX11) -- While the West Indian Day parade may be known the unofficial finale of summer, there's another carnival for families to enjoy just before the big day.

The annual Junior Carnival Parade welcomes kids to don their brightest costumes and march down Eastern Parkway alongside their families in one last summer celebration. The Junior Carnival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the iconic Brooklyn Museum.
