ITHACA, N.Y. (WETM) – An Ithaca man is scheduled to be sentenced in December after officials say he pleaded guilty to drug and gun charges on Tuesday.
Zachary Jackson, 38, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Aug. 26, to possessing with intent to distribute cocaine, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, as stated in a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Officials say that on Tuesday, Jackson admitted to having a kilogram of cocaine and a Glock handgun to protect himself while making drug sales on Nov. 19, 2024.
Upon investigation into the crime, officials say it was determined that Jackson had sold cocaine to people in the Ithaca and Auburn areas. Further, officials say it was determined that Jackson was not legally all
