KALAMAZOO, MI — When longtime Kalamazoo residents Greg and Jill Robbins bought Aviation Supplies & Academics in 2022, one of the first things they wanted to do was bring the company to them.

The 85-year-old company, founded in the Pacific Northwest, will officially move its headquarters from Seattle to 817 Walbridge St. in Kalamazoo on Dec. 2.

The company purchased the 35,465-square-foot warehouse space for $2 million in November 2024 from Reino Linen, according to city property records.

Since then, Greg Robbins said they have been busy updating the building and converting it from a commercial laundry service to a global warehousing facility.
