PEMBROKE — Lumbee Guaranty Bank recently announced the retirement of Arnold Locklear, who has served on the bank’s Board of Directors for nearly 50 years, including approximately 40 years as Chairman of the Board.
Locklear began his tenure during the bank’s early years, when it was founded to meet the needs of the underbanked Lumbee people in and around Pembroke. Under his steady leadership, the bank grew into a trusted financial institution that now serves a diverse customer base of small businesses and consumers across southeastern North Carolina.
