COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered that flags of the state of Ohio be lowered in honor of the Minneapolis shooting victims.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara told media that a shooting happened at Annunciation Catholic School just before 8:30 a.m. when a shooter — armed with a shotgun, rifle and pistol — shot dozens of rounds from outside into the windows where children sat in pews during a mass.
Three people, including the shooter, died. The children who died were 8 and 10 years old, and 14 other kids were among the 17 total wounded, the chief said. Dozens of others were inside.
