WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two 100-year-old Connecticut residents will be featured in a new documentary.
The filmmakers behind "Vintage Voices" stopped by Masonicare, a senior living facility in Wallingford, to interview the two individuals on Wednesday.
Helen Ivey and Jean looked back on the decades they've lived and told stories about the world they've seen change.
"It was interesting, it was something different, and it sort of stirs up your memories," Ivey said. "We went back to my childhood."
"Vintage Voices" is being called a funny, heartfelt and educational documentary aimed at telling the untold stories of the greatest generation.
"Everything we do is about elevating aging," Jack York, chief storyteller at TaleGate, said. "We do it through documentaries, books we're writing."
