DANBURY, Conn. — Enforcement action was taken against four Danbury vape shops on Tuesday, according to a report from the city’s police department.
From selling tobacco to minors to offering customers marijuana products, the alleged violations appear to have been blatant and abundant.
One business was even shut down for not complying with labor law requirements, Danbury police say.
The enforcement effort on Tuesday involved a multi-agency collaboration.
Led by the Danbury Police Department, the inspections featured contributions from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, state Department of Revenue Service, state Department of Labor and state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
