More details have emerged about the cannabis farm blaze at house in Coventry. 999 calls were made to report plumes of smoke coming from a property on Walsgrave Road last night (August 27).
West Midlands Fire Service sent three engines to the scene and crews made the unexpected discovery when they arrived at around 11.30pm. The whole house, including the loft, was filled with cannabis plants.
It was the cannabis grow on the ground floor that had caught fire and they managed to stop the flames from spreading to the first floor. Crews remained at the scene until 1.30am today (August 28).
