Poundland has announced the nationwide rollout of straightforward £1, £2, £3 grocery pricing throughout its UK stores from today. The alterations will be progressively implemented across all branches by the end of September and, in addition to the initial 17 trial shops, has now been fully launched in Poundland outlets across Manchester, Liverpool, Stoke and London.

This return to Poundland's original pricing philosophy will see approximately 60 per cent of products in its food aisles available for £1 - representing a crucial element in Poundland's recovery strategy to restore the business to profitability.
