RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is recovering in the hospital after being found shot in north Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers reported to a shooting call just before 4 a.m. Thursday near Capital Boulevard.

Upon arrival, the officers closed down the area with crime tape to secure the scene. CBS 17 was on the scene where officers were investigating what happened.

Officers told CBS 17 that a man was found shot on Capital Boulevard. They said he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Upon further investigation, they found out that the shooting stemmed from an incident that took place on the 3700 block of Pine Knoll Drive.
