GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) - Undergoing orthopedic surgery can be a big deal for patients, but it is a solution for treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

As part of our “Ask the Expert” series, in partnership with Bon Secours St. Francis, 7NEWS spoke with an orthopedic surgeon about surgery procedures.

"So for instance, fractures, ligaments, injuries like ACL, anterior cruciate ligament tears and rotator cuff tears," orthopedic surgeon Alan G. Poster Jr. told 7NEWS.

Doctor Poster Jr. is a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Bon Secours Saint Francis. He treats patients who eventually put too much wear and tear on their shoulders.
