LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - All Lakota Local Schools and its buses are on a two-hour delay Thursday due to a power outage at the district’s Service Center.

The buses cannot run until power is restored, district officials say.

“We will continue to monitor conditions and keep you informed of any updates to this status through our usual communication channels,” Lakota said in a message sent to parents and posted on social media.

Half-day kindergarten, AM preschool and Lakota Central AM classes are all cancelled.

PM Preschool and PM Central classes will meet as scheduled. We will continue to monitor conditions and keep you informed of any updates to this status through our usual communication channels.
