LINCOLN PARK — Femdot, the Chicago rapper born Femi Adigun, believes in the power of manifestation.
Based on how his life has unfolded over the past few years, how could he not?
In 2017, months before Adigun’s debut album dropped, he posted on social media that he’d play Lollapalooza the next year. And then he did.
A few years later, in 2020, in an interview with Lyrical Lemonade, Adigun was asked where he saw himself in five years.
“Honestly, I see myself dropping, like, two classic albums and teaching at somebody’s institution,” he said. “I want to be rapping so good that somebody lets me teach at their school. I already got the whole curriculum mapped out.”
