BOSTON (WWLP) - The Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission (ABCC), led by State Treasurer Deborah Goldberg, has launched Operation Safe Campus to combat underage drinking on Massachusetts college campuses.

Operation Safe Campus is an annual initiative that begins each year as students return to colleges and universities throughout Massachusetts. It aims to prevent alcohol-related harm by targeting underage drinking in college communities.

"As the new school year begins, Operation Safe Campus helps to remind college students, servers and retailers alike about the real risks of underage drinking,” said Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg.
