SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Two women were hit with multiple-year sentences for distributing methamphetamine around the Sioux Falls area.
Hailey Schneiderman, 25, and Heather Downey, 54, were convicted of Conspiracy to distribute a Controlled Substance.
Schneiderman was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison.
Schneiderman obtained meth from a source in California, later selling it to Downey and others in Sioux Falls.
She was identified when she sold meth twice to a confidential informant.
The sales involved more than 100 grams of methamphetamine.
Downey also sold meth in the Sioux Falls area and was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.
Schneiderman and Downey were both indicted for Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance in Nov. 2024.
