One housing development was approved by the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, while plans for another housing development appeared to be scrapped following a withdrawal request.
The board approved the Kingsley Village on Walmsley subdivision , located near the intersection of Walmsley Boulevard and Hull Street Road, during its monthly meeting.
Up to 62 single-family, cluster-style homes are planned on nearly 17 acres of land. John Costello, the applicant on the Kingsley Village rezoning case, said the closing prices on the homes would likely fall in the mid-$400,000s.
Kingsley Village will include a walking trail, playground and game field. The trail system will connect to the adjacent Wyntrebrooke Village subdivision.
