At long last, the high school football season is here.

Temas have spent the summer honing their skills in camps and seven-on-sevens, spent August putting what they’ve worked on into use in practice, and now it is time to strap on the helmets and pads and take the field.

A full slate of Week 1 games around the Jackson area includes several rivalry games, two new coaches making their debuts at Western and East Jackson , and a battle of state champions.

Jonesville also begins its final year at the old middle school field before opening the new facility in 2026.
