AUBURN, Ky. (WBKO) - The Auburn Grocery Store on 107 W Main Street has been robbed for the second time within the past month.

The Logan County Sheriff’s office responded to a call regarding a burglary at the store earlier in the month on August 1st.

On August 25th, the police department received the same call of a burglary at the same address.

After thorough investigation, it was discovered that 41-year-old Michael Watkins of Auburn, KY was responsible for both of the burglaries.

Watkins has now been arrested and detained in the Logan County Detention Center.

He is facing the following charges:

- 2 Counts Burglary in the 3rd degree

- 2 Counts Criminal Mischief 1st degree

- 1 Count Possession burglary tools
