BEMIDJI — The Blackduck Senior Center will host bingo, waffles and local musicians "Thelma and Louise" this September at the center, 24 First St. E.
A new season of bingo begins from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4.
The Center will serve hot, freshly-made waffles from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.
"Enjoy good food, good conversations and a chance to connect with friends," a release said.
Following the waffle lunch, local musicians Thelma and Louise will perform live music featuring guitar. The duo will play a couple of fun songs about Blackduck and attendees are invited to join in for a song or two during karaoke.
Refreshments will be served from 1 to 3 p.m. along with the music. Everyone is welcome, the release said.
