THE Dallas Cowboys have parted ways with superstar defensive end Micah Parsons.

The Green Bay Packers have reportedly met the Cowboys ' asking price and have acquired Parsons.

Parsons ' holdout is now officially over, as he has a new team and a new contract.

The Packers signed Parsons to a four year, $188 million extension as part of the trade.

Parsons is now the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL .

"Thank you Dallas," Parsons wrote on X after the trade.

"Go Pack Go!" he added with Packers-colored emojis and a cheese emoji.

According to Fox NFL Sunday insider Jay Glazer, the Cowboys and Packers had been "casually" discussing a trade for a while.

However, those talks intensified this week and ultimately came to a head on Thursday.
