Thursday evening update: High pressure is in control again today bringing quiet conditions. However, there is an uptick in humidity, so it feels a little more muggy out there. As far as our temperatures go, they are similar to yesterday in the mid 80s.

Things start to change going into tonight. That high pressure will be on the move. This will allow for moisture to stream in from our south. Combined with an upper-level disturbance, a few showers move in overnight and into Friday morning (south and west of I-20). However, dry air will likely prevent much of it from reaching the ground. Highs on Friday will be slightly warmer in the upper 80s.

Things look good overall for those Friday night football games. We can't rule out a shower or two, but it won't be a washout.
