The Flagstaff Police Department (FPD) temporarily shut down part of Forest Meadows Street on the west side of Flagstaff on Wednesday , Aug. 27, to resolve an incident involving a person tossing unspecified objects from an apartment window.

According to public information officer Jerry Rintala, FPD officers arrived on scene around 1 p.m. to assist Northern Arizona University Police Department (NAUPD) officers with a welfare check for an individual who had been reported missing. As NAUPD officers left the scene, the individual “began throwing items out of his bedroom window.” Copy article link
