Traveling is great, but when you live in a state as stunning as Rhode Island, staying home can be just as rewarding.

Negativity and outrage sometimes drown out the good things, but I’ll never let anyone tell me that I’m not allowed to love this state of mine.

Through various circumstances, most notably a septic system that reached the end of its life, any time off that I got this summer has been a staycation for me. I knew it would be that way going in, so I determined to make the most of living in the Ocean State.
