Talk about a page turner! A free library program got a big boost to their bank account.

Cox Communications is awarding more than $80,000 to 12 nonprofits.

Dibs for Kids in Omaha received $7,500 to keep their library shelves stocked.

"We're serving somewhere in the neighborhood of 7,000 students in the Omaha metro area this year. School just started. So we don't have a exact number yet. And there those kids are on pace to take home 500,000 or half a million books this school year. So to be able to put even more books into circulation is just it's incredible. And I'm just so thankful and grateful," said Angie Miller.

More than 117 applications were received this year to support programs in education, technology, social issues and the arts.
