BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The City of Bowling Green is introducing a new ordinance to prevent human trafficking.

The goal of the ordinance is to prevent illegal operations that can lead to human sex trafficking.

According to the Bowling Green Police Department, there have been 6 active human trafficking cases in Bowling Green since 2017.

Massage therapist Melissa Strautman has owned Massage Fix, a local Massage therapy business, since 2012.

She recalls a time when she informed someone about the dangers of what can go on behind closed doors.
