Police have evacuated part of the town of Concord Thursday night after a woman left a “suspicious device” at a convenience store.
Concord police and firefighters were called to Nine Acre Farm convenience store at 1637 Sudbury Road around 7:30 p.m. for a report of a suspicious package, Concord police said in a press release . A woman is alleged to have walked into the store, placed a suspicious device on the floor and pulled the fire alarm.
"The State Police Bomb Squad has been called to the scene, and the Concord Police and Fire Departments are taking the matter seriously, following its established procedures," Concord police said in the release.
All businesses within 300 feet of the convenience store have been evacuated, police said. There are no homes in the immediate area, but they
