SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A Valley teen is appealing to the public to help find her mom, who’s been missing for a decade.

When Niilah Crable’s mom, Cristin Crable, disappeared in September of 2015, Niilah was just 3 years old.

“It just feels like I never had a mom because she’s never really been there. I don’t really remember anything about her,” Niilah said.

But she still has a feeling of emptiness. It’s been 10 grueling years of missed memories and milestones, including five new grandchildren.

“It’s been really hard because sometimes I’m in situations where I really need my mom but I can’t picture her with me,” she said.

Even after all this time, it’s still raw for Cristin’s mother-in-law, Charlsie Walker, who said they always had a special bond.
