The Falcons opened the season with a dominating defensive performance, rambling through Flint Hamady for a 56-8 non-conference victory.

Defensive linemen Calvin Marshall and Jake Fernelius were a destructive combination in the trenches, continually stuffing the run and harassing the Hamady quarterback in the backfield.

Ogemaw limited Hamady to 43 rushing yards and 95 yards of total offense in a performance that foreshadows big things ahead for the defending Jack Pine Conference champion.
