Craig McCall is men’s champion at Craigentinny Bowling Club for a third time.
And the 64-year-old had a VIP supporter at both his semi-final AND final – seven week old grand-daughter Piper!
Craig, who is believed to be one of the oldest winners at a club which has produced numerous internationalists down the years, had to five ties on his way to the trophy.
He overcame the challenges of, respectively, Mike Sime, Jake Watling, Gavin Rogers, Kevin McFarlane and, in the final, regular winner Danny Gormley, 21-17.
The trophy was presented by club president Paul Archibald.
