There are just days remaining in the summer transfer window and though Middlesbrough ’s window has started to come together nicely in the last couple of weeks, there are still deals to be done before Monday’s deadline.

After securing the loan signing of Matt Targett on loan from Newcastle United earlier this week to fill the left wing-back slot after accepting defeat for now in their interest in Max Arfsten, Boro took their incoming summer business to seven deals - which includes Adilson Malanda, who rejoined Charlotte FC on loan until January.
