PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Traffic is backed up for several miles along Interstate 95 in Prince George's County following a collision on Thursday morning.
Details are limited; however, the crash took place just before Exit 31, near the MD 200 Intercounty Connector.
As a result, first responders have blocked off three lanes.
Currently, it is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the collision, and if anyone was hurt.
The Maryland Department of Transportation camera showed heavy congestion along the interstate, and cars were slowly inching through traffic.
Drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes until the crash is cleared.
