The UK is set to be hit by a September heatwave, with temperatures set to soar higher than those in France in the European Union. Maps and charts from WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data, shows heat around 25C and 26C is on the way.
The heat plume is expected across September 8 -with France being three or four degrees Celsius lower. The parts of the country set to benefit include Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire, Dorset, Somerset and Hampshire.
