MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The WVU Medicine Children’s and WVRC Media Cares for Kids Radiothon broke the fundraising record it set in 2024.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the event raised $224,208 for the greatest needs of WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital.

“This year’s record-breaking Radiothon is a testament to the unwavering generosity of our community and partnership we share with WVRC Media,” Marisa Sayre , executive director of development, marketing and communications for WVU Medicine Children’s, said. “We are deeply grateful to every listener and donor who made this milestone possible. Together we are creating healthier futures for our kids.”
