Delta Dental of Tennessee has announced local attorney and former Gov. Bill Lee aide Lang Wiseman has been named to its board of directors, for which Evette White will serve as chair for 2025-27.

A member of the University of Tennessee basketball program as a student at UT, Wiseman serves as senior executive vice president and general counsel for First Horizon Bank.

Wiseman received his law degree from Harvard Law School and began his legal career at Baker Donelson before launching his own firm. He served as deputy governor and chief counsel to Lee for three years before returning to Baker Donelson to help rebuild its lobbying practice (read here ). Wiseman left in 2024 to take on his role at First Horizon.

Wiseman is a member of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees.
