ALBANY, New York (WWNY) - A Colton man is accused of possessing 25 kilograms of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
The United States Department of Justice says Casey Kocher, 28, of Colton, was indicted Thursday with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
According to the Department of Justice, Kocher was stopped by the New York State Police in a rental vehicle in Colton and allegedly possessed 25 kilograms of cocaine in a black duffel bag that was intended for further distribution.
The charge of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance carries a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 10 years and a maximum prison sentence of up to life in prison.
