EUGENE, Ore. - A Eugene woman has been sentenced to a total of 90 months in prison and three years of post-prison for arson and theft, according to the Lane County District Attorney’s Office.

The DA’s office said that Jasmine Michelle Wright was convicted on Aug. 12 of arson and other charges after setting a North Eugene home on fire in July 2024. Five sleeping occupants narrowly escaped, but the property suffered over $300,000 in damage. Eugene police, working with the FBI, linked Wright to the scene using security footage and cell phone data.

Additionally, Wright pled guilty on Aug. 26 to theft for using someone else's debit card to buy theater tickets while on pretrial release. She received a six-month sentence with one year of post-prison supervision for this crime. Local law enforce
